Trans Youth Talk Back, Wednesday, August 24th, Victoria

Let the voices of trans youth take center stage.

Advocates and mental health service providers can gain a deeper understanding of the unique experiences of trans youth and how we can play a role providing affirming care. Adults often define the experiences of youth. This innovative presentation lets a group of trans youth tell their own stories through a youth-designed and led learning experience. Participants are asked to witness and learn from these youth

leaders, to truly let youth be the experts of their own experience.
Sponsored by Health Canada and facilitated by Vancouver Coastal Health.

Wednesday, August 24, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Program begins at 6 sharp with a brief orientation prior to meeting the youth. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate late entry. Light refreshments will be served.
