School can be a supportive and nurturing environment for a trans or gender creative student. However, lack of understanding about trans issues and gender-based bullying can make school a stressful experience for many children and youth. Research shows that schools with GSA and inclusion policies that explicitly protect LGBT2Q+ youth have better health outcomes for all youth, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

We hope that these resources will help you in creating a supportive and welcoming school environment for all students, families and staff. Please Contact Us for more information or support in working with your school district.
